SharePoint 3rd level support

We are looking for a self-motivated SharePoint 3rd level support that wants to be part of a professional team here in Cluj Napoca/ or remote. Our partner is one of the biggest Certification company in the world.

Responsibilities

  • SharePoint 2016 productive farm with 16 servers
  • SharePoint 2016 QA Farm with 12 servers
  • SharePoint 2016 POC Farm with 10 servers
  • SQL database AlwaysON productive farm 22 servers
  • SQL database AlwaysON QA Farm 22 servers
  • SQL Database AlwaysON POC Farm 2 Servers
  • Support, maintenance and servicing of a SharePoint infrastructure 2016 including database servers
  • Recording, analysis and correction of faults
  • Initial tracking and analysis of detected malfunctions
  • Creation and evaluation monitoring for systems
  • Installation and configuration of new SharePoint servers, exchange of SharePoint servers and upgrade of Windows OS systems.
  • Integration of SharePoint via Load Balancer as well as import and maintenance of certificates
  • Create and manage servers using PowerShell scripts
  • Authentication methods Claims, Kerberos for the integration of SharePoint in other systems
  • Database administration: content databases, sizing, creation, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Configuration of internal SharePoint services (Search, Manage Meta Data, User Profile Service, Business Connectivity etc.)
  • Execution of cross-farm tasks
  • Coordination of necessary maintenance measures between the users of the SharePoint farm
  • Basic application maintenance for the SharePoint installation (SharePoint Portal and its subsites)
  • Performing routine monitoring and maintenance tasks
  • Evaluation of SharePoint logs
  • Ensure regular backups of the SharePoint environment as well as regular backup of the configurations.
  • Integration of Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms (PROD/QA)
  • Update and operation of Nintex within the SharePoint onPrem Farm
  • Nintex monitoring and license evaluation
  • Integration of SharePoint systems with AvePoint Administrator and AvePoint DocAve
  • Maintain the AvePoint environment and install current versions for the manager and agent.
  • Opening and tracking a support case with the vendor (Microsoft, AvePoint, Nintex)
  • Creation of documentation, installation instructions, backup/restore scenarios for all systems and extensions

General skills

  • Processing of tickets, requests and error correction within the ticket system
  • Independent processing of tickets within a reaction time (no fault clearance time)
  • Creation of correction instructions for the customer’s administrator
  • Independent creation and editing of changes
  • Analysis of access problems at application level
  • Coordination of further developments across the farm
  • Consultation about ticket processing with supervisor
  • Cooperation with internal 2nd/3rd level support for SharePoint.
  • Backup/Restore of files, content, permissions for SharePoint via DocAve.
  • Working according to ITIL processes

Foreign Languages

  • Fluent in English and German
